2007 - Joint Meetings of Imaging Core with Computational Core
I am announcing a computer science resource (includes everything from Applied Math to computer hardware) for the Imaging Core members, in which you are invited to participate every four weeks.
The Interactive and Adaptive Workstations Section (Gary, Renxin) of the Imaging Core will be holding every-fourth-Thursday open-meetings with members of the NCIGT Computational Core (headed by Sandy Wells), on Thursdays at 1pm in the Hollenberg conference room, Thorn 3.
All are invited.
Every meeting, we'll likely spend the first 1/2 hour discussing computer software and hardware topics of mutual interest between participants regarding related NCIGT software development.
The last 1/2 of the meeting will always be an open computer science/physics rountable discussion.
The roundtable is meant to be a technical resource session, where any interested Imaging Core and Computational Core members are invited to seek advice and ideas from the scientific and technical experts from both cores at the table.
If you have special computer science-related NCIGT efforts and expertise, then come and tell others about them, so we all can be informed of what computer science-related development is going on (even within our Imaging Core), and see if there is development-related advice available.
